Lakeridge Health Whitby Foundation presented it’s 5th annual fashion
show on May 8, 2008 at the McKinney Centre in Whitby.More than 400 people gathered at Whitby's McKinney Centre on May 8 for the Foundation's "Leather & Lace" Fashion Show. "The event's goal was to raise money to purchase much needed equipment and support services for Lakeridge Health Whitby patients," said Jim Lavelle Chair of the Foundation. Lakeridge Health Whitby Foundation is committed to providing on-going resources towards services such as Regional Dialysis, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Assessment, Palliative Care, Positive Care Clinic and Complex and Continuing Care. We sincerely appreciate the community's continued support of our fundraising efforts for these very special programs which, significantly enhance the quality of care for our patients and provides the appropriate equipment for the dedicated staff.
